Job summary

Cabot Citrus Farms is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations at its Brooksville property. You will ensure cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of service.

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory experience in housekeeping and are adept at leading teams, training staff, and coordinating with other departments. The role requires flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping supervisor experience; preferably at a high-end resort.
• Minimum 3 years housekeeping/public area experience.
• High school or equivalent education required – Hospitality Management degree a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate colleagues.
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains housekeeping department standards; hires, trains, and supervises staff; prepares schedules.
• Plans and monitors staff activities to meet quality standards and guestroom cleanliness.
• Performs cleaning duties during staff shortages or emergencies.
• Assists with scheduling and coordination of hotel operations.
• Trains housekeeping staff and conducts daily audits of accommodations and public areas.
• Identifies repair needs and works with leadership to address them.
• Promotes teamwork and coordinates with Front Desk and other departments.
• Leads deep-cleaning and cycle projects and ensures safety procedures are followed.
