Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess - Pelican Landing to welcome guests and set a positive tone for their dining experience. You will work at our resort pools across three levels and join a high-volume operation.

The role emphasizes guest service, seating guidance, and teamwork with food and beverage outlets. Prior host experience is preferred; English fluency is required; days/evenings/weekends/holidays availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated.
• Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Assist in seating Members and guests according to seating chart.
• Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess/host station and dining area.
