CoralTree Hospitality seeks a friendly Host/Hostess - Pelican Landing for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. You will welcome guests, guide seating, and support reservations with a guest-centric approach in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The role emphasizes outstanding service, team collaboration, and adherence to resort standards. Previous hostess experience is preferred; strong English communication is essential to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
Excellent communication skills with guests and teammates.
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
Assist in seating Members and guests according to seating chart or guest preferences.
Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess/host station and dining area.
Manage guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front-of-the-house employees.
Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes at their respective outlet.
Perform additional tasks assigned by Supervisors.
