Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Manager for Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, Massachusetts. You will lead the front office team, oversee Guest Service Agents, Concierge, PBX, and Bell/Valet staff, and ensure service standards are maintained and improved daily.

The role requires at least 2 years front office or supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and solid computer skills.

• Minimum of 2 years front office and/or supervisory experience, preferably in luxury hotel setting.
• Demonstrated management skills.

• Sound accounting background; train subordinates in this area.

Responsibilities

• Operate Front Office properly, efficiently (includes scheduling) and with profitability, overseeing Guest Service Agents, Concierge, PBX, and Bell/Valet staff.
• Ensure that Front Office service standards, including Forbes, Preferred Legend, and AAA, are refreshed, maintained and used daily.
• Delegate duties and responsibilities to subordinate Front Office colleagues and ensure work processes are organized.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy by controlling rates and availability on the day of guest arrival.
• Ensure proper staffing at all times in all Front Office areas.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, behavior and grooming among staff.
• Handle all guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully.
• Coordinate teamwork with other departments; perform other duties as required.
