Job summary

Black Desert Resort is seeking a Conference Services Manager to plan and execute events, coordinating with sales, catering, and operations to exceed client expectations. The role serves as the main liaison from contract to final delivery and focuses on flawless event execution in a luxury setting.

You will work with diverse teams to manage timelines, budgets, and client needs, while staying current on industry trends and guest experience innovations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in event planning, catering, or conference services in a luxury venue.
• Strong understanding of event operations, banquet services, and logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact from contract signing through event completion.
• Plan and execute group meetings, corporate retreats, and social events.
• Coordinate requirements with catering, banquet, AV, housekeeping, and front office.
• Hold pre-event and post-event meetings to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee timelines, room setups, F&B service, and special requests.
• Monitor budgets and ensure billing accuracy per contracts.
• Address on-site client requests and resolve last-minute issues.
• Collaborate with sales and catering to create customized event packages.
• Maintain and update event management software and client preferences.
• Represent Black Desert Resort at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Stay informed on event trends and guest experience innovations.
