Job summary

Wildflower Farms, Auberge Collection in New York's Hudson Valley seeks an Engineering Manager to lead guest-facing and back-of-house maintenance. You will work with the team to ensure safety, comfort, and luxury standards across cabins, spa, and farm operations.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, managing fire safety, IT troubleshooting, and reporting to the Executive Committee.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry.
• Three years of operating experience in hotel engineering, luxury preferred.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Fluent English; bilingual appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations as a member of the management team.
• Provide in-house mechanical and electrical servicing to guests discreetly.
• Prioritize and resolve maintenance requests efficiently.
• Train and supervise technicians to maintain technical standards.
• Oversee mechanical repairs, transportation, and landscaping teams.
• Ensure fire safety systems are operational and train staff on protocol.
• Troubleshoot IT hardware issues as needed.
• Maintain equipment records, manuals, and spares inventory.
