Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island seeks a Special Projects Attendant to focus on deep cleaning in guestrooms and public areas, maintaining pristine spaces that reflect our luxury hospitality. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include carpet and surface cleaning, floor care and general housekeeping tasks, while upholding grooming standards and professional guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Experience with cleaning equipment (extractor, buffer, etc.).
• Basic understanding of the English language.
• Ability to anticipate and focus on guest needs while being professional.
• Lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, seeing, hearing, speaking to guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning in public areas and guestrooms.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors; clean furniture and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and public spaces.
• Respond professionally to guest requests.
• Report damages or malfunctions.
