Job summary

Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island invites you to join the Special Projects Attendant team. This full-time role focuses on deep cleaning in guestrooms and public areas, with tasks like floor stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet shampooing, and detailed cleaning of walls and fixtures.

You will work with a collaborative Heartists team, maintain grooming standards, and respond to guest requests with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment (extractor, buffer, etc.) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of the English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning in public areas and guestrooms, including floor stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet shampooing, and cleaning fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, dust, mop tile and marble floors, and clean walls and furniture.
• Dust and clean walls, baseboards, vents, lights and doors; report damages.
• Maintain guestroom and public area cleanliness and grooming standards.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly.
• Read, understand, and follow department policies.
