Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking a Resort Assistant Manager to oversee Front Office, Guest Services and Concierge. This role acts as the manager on duty when senior management is unavailable, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up on guest requests and issues.

You will support the Front Desk Manager with daily arrivals, VIPs, group needs and room assignments, coordinating with Housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of hotel operating systems and supervisory experience preferred.
• Good communication skills; direct contact with guests.
• Fluency in English required; US work authorization; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in leading the Front Desk, Bell, Concierge, Housekeeping and Laundry employees.
• Uses computer systems to check guests in/out, run daily reports, and block rooms for arriving guests.
• Resolves guest complaints with high hospitality standards and handles special requests.
• Assists in recruitment, training, and staff scheduling; conducts performance evaluations.
• Ensures standards are met and guest satisfaction remains high; responds to guest requests timely.
