Job summary

Jeff King & Company in San Francisco, CA seeks a Small Projects Division Manager to oversee service, warranty, and small projects up to approximately $750k. This hybrid role blends project management and site superintendent duties, requiring field presence and office coordination.

Responsibilities include budgeting, client coordination, contract oversight, safety, and closeout. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in residential construction, PM experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years in residential construction.
• At least five years in project management.
• Three years of site supervision.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Project management software experience with Procore and FastTrack.
• Hands-on trade experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with existing clients and communicate clearly.
• Coordinate with clients, trade professionals, service reps, and vendors.
• Manage all financial aspects: budgets, estimates, costs, change-orders and profitability.
• Coordinate pre-construction activities with Admin support for invoicing and billing.
• Meet with clients and representatives to outline scope and schedule; draft proposals and contracts.
• File permits, obtain inspections, create project plans and schedules.
• Plan resources, procure staff/materials, and review with clients as needed.
• Oversee subcontractors, approve invoices, and ensure safety at all times.
• Lead weekly meetings, distribute minutes, and maintain information flow.
• Regularly update job and cost schedules; closeout with signatures.
