De Mattei Construction Inc. is seeking a Luxury Residential Project Manager to oversee high-end custom home projects in San Jose, CA. You will manage contract preparation, on-site coordination, quality control, and client/developer communication to deliver exceptional results.

The role requires 5+ years in luxury residential/build, 3+ years in PM, ProCore and MS Office proficiency, and OSHA 10 certification. Competitive pay and project bonuses are offered with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years in high-end residential or custom home building.
• 3+ years in project management roles.
• ProCore and MS Office proficiency.
• OSHA 10 certification; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare and monitor RFIs, submittals, change orders, and logs using ProCore.
• Supervise Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and on-site staff.
• Manage project budgets and provide detailed cost estimations.
• Maintain regular communication with owners and developers to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform site inspections to ensure safety, specifications, and quality.
• Identify construction challenges and negotiate effective solutions.

The Luxury Residential Project Manager will handle contract preparation, on-site coordination, quality control, and all facets of contract management. Responsibilities Include

• Project Management: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Physical Abilities And Site Conditions

• Must use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Requires sitting, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
• Work outdoors on construction job sites in all types of weather conditions.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Available for emergency or on-call duties on nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in high-end residential and custom+- home building with 3+ years in project management roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ProCore, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook).
• Certifications:
  • OSHA 10
  • Must have a valid driver's license, an insurable driving record and able to pass a background check.
• Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
