Job summary

Hardwick General Contracting, a family-owned custom home builder based in Maitland, Florida, seeks a Construction Project Coordinator to support pre-construction, active projects, and office administration. You will maintain records, coordinate information with leadership, PMs, and trade partners, and help keep projects organized.

The role requires 3+ years in residential construction coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks, and CM

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential construction project coordination experience.
• Administrative and accounting support experience; construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience in custom or luxury residential construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project files, drawings, specs, selections, notes, and action items.
• Track project documentation, decisions, deadlines, and outstanding information.
• Assist with subcontractor bid requests, vendor proposals, scope comparisons, and budget updates.
• Support purchase orders, subcontract documents, change orders, and closeout docs.
• Assist with cost coding, invoice routing, and financial record organization.
• Track vendor compliance docs, including W-9s, insurance, and lien releases.
• Assist with billing documentation and reconciliation of project records.
• Coordinate meetings and distribute documents; support daily office admin.
• Collaborate with operations to track schedules and milestones.
• Maintain docs for green building certifications when applicable.
• Coordinate client warranty documents and onboarding materials.
• Protect confidential company, client, employee, and financial information.
