Job summary

Delano Miami Beach seeks a Reservations Supervisor to oversee luxury and lifestyle reservations, ensuring a seamless guest experience and adherence to Forbes Five Star call standards. You will maximize relationships with guests, travel agents and third parties, supporting a high-touch reservations process.

Responsibilities include managing commissions, group bookings, and interdepartmental liaison, while staying knowledgeable about rates, packages, and upsell opportunities to enhance revenue.

Qualifications

• Hospitality degree preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Previous reservation experience.
• Computer skills.
• Flexible schedule.
• Multilingual preferred.
• Must be able to work seated at least 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to speak and hear clearly to communicate with guests by phone.
• Must be able to pull and lift packages up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process travel agent commissions and group requests.
• Block reservations and manage hotel reservations.
• Handle company hotel, restaurant, and nightlife requests.
• Liaise between sales and operations.
• Answer calls promptly with Forbes/Delano standards.
• Know current rates, specials, and resort operations.
• Be aware of room types, layouts, and upsell opportunities.
• Follow reservation policies on guarantees, cancellations and no-shows.
• Maintain reservations inbox and daily correspondence.
• Collaborate with other departments and participate in meetings.
