Job summary

Chateau Marmont is seeking a Part-Time Rooms Reservation Agent in Los Angeles to be the first contact for guests booking accommodations. The role requires discretion, professionalism, and a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate has luxury hospitality or high-end customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining privacy. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end customer service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and composure under pressure.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation systems or PMS platforms (training provided).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently.
• Polished, discreet, service-oriented guest interactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls, emails, and online reservations with warmth and discretion.
• Provide accurate information on room types, suites, rates, and amenities.
• Manage reservations in the PMS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Update, modify, or cancel reservations with high service standards.
• Coordinate special requests and VIP notes to ensure seamless arrivals.
• Communicate with front desk, housekeeping, and guest services to complete reservation details.
• Uphold privacy and confidentiality for all guests.
• Assist with pre-arrival correspondence and precise guest detail documentation.
• Represent the hotel's distinctive style in every interaction.
