Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is recruiting a Reservations Agent to join our luxury team on Michigan Avenue. You will manage reservations, ensure seamless operations, and maintain Forbes-standard service to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have strong English, two years of luxury reservations experience, and familiarity with Opera PMS. The role offers extensive benefits, including health, 401(k) matching, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of room Reservations experience in luxury property ideal.
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera and some knowledge in Housekeeping department preferred.
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Reservations operations.
• Knowledgeable and fully adheres to both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience.
• Be in full compliance with Head Office database requirements.
• Ensure efficient operation of the Reservations responsibilities with efficient handover.
