Job summary

The RealReal is hiring a Resales Specialist in Chicago, IL. You drive revenue by engaging clients on the floor, growing a personal book of business, and relentlessly pursuing sales targets in a fast-paced luxury resale environment.

Responsibilities include expert suggestive selling, client outreach, and ownership of sales metrics. You will curate elevated customer journeys, share product stories, and maintain impeccable store standards while leveraging Salesforce and internal tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a metrics-based retail sales environment.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and KPIs.
• Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity and fast pace of growth.
• Positive, professional demeanor representing a luxury brand.
• Self-motivation with daily proactive outreach for sales opportunities.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organization for high client interactions.
• Strong technology skills: Salesforce, Google Suite, Mac OS.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients on the floor to exceed daily/monthly targets through expert up-selling.
• Build and manage a personal book of business through daily outreach to existing clients.
• Monitor and adjust sales performance to meet KPIs.
• Navigate multiple customer journeys, delivering an elevated experience from entry to checkout.
• Act as brand ambassador and educate clients on sustainability and the TRR model.
• Provide styling advice and leverage luxury brand knowledge to build trust.
• Maintain brand standards with replenishment and visual presentation on the floor.
• Execute opening/closing procedures and ensure readiness for high-volume sales days.
• Master Salesforce and internal tools to track client preferences and streamline sales.
