K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel in New Jersey is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead operations, people, and performance across our luxury resort network. You will drive results, set service standards, and foster a 5-star guest experience for dogs and peace of mind for their owners.

This senior leadership role requires 3–4+ years of management, a proven ability to manage P&L, labor, and KPIs, and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of management experience in pet care, hospitality, or similar.
• Proven leadership in high-volume, service-driven environments.
• Strong business acumen with P&L, budgeting, and KPI focus.
• Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and resort team members.
• Own full-cycle talent management: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance.
• Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture.
• Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and pet care standards.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor efficiency.
• Maintain facility standards, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
• Set and uphold 5-Star service expectations across all interactions.
• Drive revenue through service offerings, client retention, and enrollment growth.
• Personally resolve high-level customer concerns.
• Monitor feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador in the local community.
• Build partnerships with veterinarians, groomers, and pet-related businesses.
• Lead marketing initiatives to drive awareness and growth.
• Own P&L performance and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to drive results.
• Manage expenses, payroll, and budgeting.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
