Job summary

Eden Roc Miami Beach is seeking a Pastry Cook to join its renowned culinary team. You will assist in crafting a wide range of pastries, desserts, and confections, working closely with our Pastry Chefs to learn advanced techniques and elevate our dessert offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years pastry experience.
• College degree or certification in culinary/hospitality preferred.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members.
• Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Understand financial goals and accomplish them.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, baking, and presentation of pastries, cakes, and confections.
• Collaborate with Pastry Chefs to learn techniques and elevate desserts.
• Contribute to dessert menu ideas and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in pastry station.
