Job summary
GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Blu Aventura, a luxury lease-up community in Aventura, FL. Help ensure a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for residents as you support a brand-new community from the ground up.
You will perform repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, pool maintenance, and exteriors. The role requires 2+ years in multifamily maintenance, strong problem-solving, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in multifamily apartment maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry items.
- Strong customer service mindset to meet resident needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the community appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the grounds.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Perform apartment turns and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, pool, and exteriors.
- Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold community standards and resident experience.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on service quality and excellence.
