Job summary

Oliver Peoples is seeking a Licensed Optician to lead luxury retail store performance by delivering exceptional service and building a premium client following. You will advocate for accurate eyewear measurements, fittings, and frame selection tailored to each customer’s lifestyle and RX needs.

The role requires 2+ years in luxury sales, a state optician license, and strong optical knowledge, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma and state licensure/certification as an optician
Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in luxury service
Solid knowledge of optical theory and current practices
Strong clienteling and relationship-building abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive and resourceful with computer skills and flexible hours

Responsibilities

Maintains extremely high standards of sales and service.
Exceeds client service and sales standards by delivering an exceptional experience.
Builds and maintains a strong client following.
Guides customers in selecting frames and lenses for lifestyle, wardrobe, RX, and budget.
Ensures accurate measurements, adjustments, and fitting of eyewear.
Maintains flawless product presentation on sales floor and back office.
Manages inventory controls and supports store policies and procedures.
Trains and mentors team members and supports events and promotions.
