Job summary

The RealReal is seeking a Learning Design Specialist to craft premium, self-paced, instructor-led, and micro-learning assets. You will leverage UI/UX design and Generative AI to streamline development, partnering with retail, tech, and operations to ensure learning touches drive measurable business impact.

You will design immersive digital environments with Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite, delivering MVPs quickly while maintaining a luxury aesthetic and TRR

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Instructional Design, Digital Experience Design, Learning Technology, or AI engineering within a complex enterprise environment
• AI Literacy & Prompt Engineering: Integrate Generative AI into instructional workflows for brainstorming, script enhancement, workflow automation, and rapid prototyping
• Mastery of ADDIE, Agile, and Performance-Based Design with ability to solve business problems through instructional architecture
• Performance-First Mindset: solve business problems through technology and workflow-embedded interventions rather than just content
• Advanced portfolio showing interactivity (Articulate Storyline/Rise) and strong visual design

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end digital production of self-paced assets (Camtasia, Canva, Adobe) with a premium TRR voice
• Use Articulate 360 to build immersive digital environments where learners practice, not just watch
• Design prompts and AI Personas (Gems) with Google Gemini and NotebookLM for fast script/asset prototyping
• Architect learning journeys by integrating performance support tools into daily workflows
• Collaborate with SMEs and leaders to ground learning materials in proprietary docs and convert data to tools
• Deploy MVPs within hours of identifying operational problems across multiple projects
