Job summary

Ethan Allen is seeking a Design Consultant to work in our design center, remotely, online or in the customer’s home. You will craft individualized design solutions, assist with space planning, fabric coordination and product selection, and drive sales while providing exceptional customer service.

Compensation is incentive-based with a recoverable draw and potential earnings up to six figures for high performers, reflecting commissions and sales success within a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Minimum interior design experience and customer-facing sales ability.
• Bachelor’s in design or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social media and grass-roots marketing.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer budget and preferences.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services to clients.
• Represent the brand and greet customers to secure appointments and in-home consultations.
• Utilize social media to develop and grow the business.
• Educate customers about complimentary design services and finance options.
• Coordinate with team for exceptional service before and after sale.
• Enter orders using the retail POS system.
• Develop business plans and grass-roots marketing plans with leadership.
