Job summary

Ethan Allen, America's #1 Premium Furniture Retailer, is seeking a Design Consultant to create personalized design solutions and drive sales in our design centers. You will greet customers, build rapport, and present tailored Ethan Allen solutions that match their space and budget.

You will lead design projects using 3-D tools, coordinate with team members, and educate clients on our complimentary design service and financing options. Weekend and holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of practical interior design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution, desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Working knowledge of online sales and design tools.
• Good listening and communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of social media and grassroots marketing to develop business.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen’s products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions and conduct home calls when needed.
• Utilize grassroots marketing and social media to develop the business.
• Educate customers on complementary design services and finance options.
• Stay current on design trends and color schemes.
• Coordinate with team to provide exceptional service before and after the sale.
