Job summary

Wayfair is hiring experienced Designers for Perigold to support luxury clients in Houston. You will manage design projects from initial consultation to delivery, combining interior design expertise with sales acumen to meet high-end customer needs.

You will work with trade and consumer clients, using design software and swatches to present moodboards and plans, and you'll participate in a fast-paced, dynamic store environment with opportunities for rapid growth.

Qualifications

2+ years of design experience within a design firm or high end furniture retailer.
Professional portfolio required.
Familiarity with Perigold supplier brands, materials and construction, and custom programs a plus.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers.
Passion for design and strong customer service; drive to exceed sales targets.
Strong organization, communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain luxury experience standards and provide an authentic guest experience.
Own your book of business end-to-end, fostering long-standing client relationships.
Meet complex needs of Perigold customers including large-scale luxury and trade projects.
Leverage interior design and sales expertise to guide customers' design needs and purchases.
Share expertise in fabrics and finishes, highlighting performance and trends.
Manage virtual, in-home, and in-store design appointments and deliverables.
