Job summary

Provides a refined in-room dining experience from initial order through delivery, presentation, payment, and equipment retrieval. Serves as guest's primary telephone contact and room-service professional, coordinating with Culinary and the In-Room Dining Supervisor.

Requires strong knowledge of menu and beverages, accurate POS handling, polished service, discretion, and the ability to coordinate with culinary staff while maintaining guest confidentiality and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• PPABC Liquor Certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly and guide beverage selections with knowledge while identifying allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Enter orders into POS accurately and confirm details with guests.
• Review each order for accuracy and transport dining items safely to rooms.
• Set up dining surfaces, present dishes, and provide professional table-side beverage service.
• Confirm guest satisfaction and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Retrieve and return equipment, maintain clean service areas, and complete opening/closing duties.
