The Jay in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead guestroom and public area cleaning, ensure quality standards, and manage budgeting and staffing. You will oversee laundry operations, schedule labor, and drive guest satisfaction through effective team leadership.

Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day housekeeping activities, maintaining inventory, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with safety and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Experience managing in-house operated laundry operations.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and their requirements.
• Able to work with other department leaders and resolve conflicts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to meet cleanliness standards.
• Develop housekeeping and laundry budget and controls for expenses.
• Schedule labor to align with occupancy, events, and activity.
• Interview, hire, train, and discipline staff as needed.
• Communicate directions clearly to staff and interact with guests to maintain satisfaction.
