Job summary

The White Barn Inn, Auberge Collection in Kennebunk, ME, is hiring a Valet to be the first and last point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure with prompt and courteous service.

You will park and retrieve guests' vehicles, assist with belongings, provide information, and coordinate with hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience. A minimum of one year in valet/bellman in luxury hotel preferred; valid driver's license; 18+, flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one-year experience as a valet or bellman preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays according to department needs
• Valid driver's license that meets the needs of our insurance carrier
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve guests' vehicles efficiently, ensuring the safe and secure handling of keys and personal items left in the vehicle.
• Provide courteous and attentive customer service, assisting guests with their belongings, offering information, and creating a positive and welcoming experience.
• Manage incoming and outgoing traffic at the valet station, ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles and maintaining order in the designated area.
• Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles, noting any special requests, and documenting any relevant information for efficient retrieval.
• Act as a communication link between guests and other hotel departments, facilitating requests and ensuring effective coordination of services.
