Auberge Collection in California is seeking a Part-Time Valet to be the first and last contact for guests, delivering a smooth and sophisticated arrival and departure with prompt, courteous service.

Duties include parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting guests with belongings, managing traffic at the valet station, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The rate for this position is $16.90-$17.90 per hour; pay is based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one-year experience as a valet or bellman preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays according to department needs.
• Valid driver's license that meets the needs of our insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve guests' vehicles efficiently, ensuring the safe and secure handling of keys and personal items left in the vehicle.
• Provide courteous and attentive customer service, assisting guests with their belongings, offering information, and creating a positive and welcoming experience.
• Manage incoming and outgoing traffic at the valet station, ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles and maintaining order in the designated area.
• Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles, noting any special requests, and documenting any relevant information for efficient retrieval.
• Act as a communication link between guests and other hotel departments, facilitating requests and ensuring effective coordination of services.
