Job summary

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is seeking a Service Bartender to prepare and serve cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous, efficient manner, in line with hotel standards. You will receive training in this role and contribute to a high-volume, high-service bar operation on site.

Key duties include taking orders, mixing drinks, serving wine and beer, handling money, maintaining par stocks, setting up and clearing the bar, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and use of flare bartending skills.
• Strong knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Ability to handle money and make correct change.
• Effective communication with guests and colleagues.
• Experience in a high-quality, high-volume operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to standard recipes.
• Serve wine and draft or bottled beer.
• Handle money and make correct change.
• Adhere to par stock ordering procedures.
• Set up and clear the bar area; monitor apprentices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
