Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Server Assistant to support restaurant service with prompt table delivery, clearing and setup. You will help the wait staff and ensure a seamless guest experience in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates bring at least 6 months of food service experience, exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while lifting up to 40 lbs. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of food service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silverware for service in a discreet manner.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas.
