Job summary

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa in Colorado is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Operations to drive daily performance and long-term success. You will partner with the Resort Manager and Culinary Director to translate the service vision into consistently exceptional guest experiences and a supportive, high-performing workplace.

The ideal candidate brings hospitality leadership, strong business judgment, and a passion for anticipating guest and colleague needs in a luxury

Qualifications

Previous hospitality management experience, ideally in a full-service or luxury hotel.
Commitment to anticipating and meeting guest and colleague needs.
Strong verbal and written communication across teams.
Experience with hotel systems; Opera, Micros, and HotSOS preferred.
Ability to translate insights into practical improvements.
Flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Support short- and long-range operational plans aligned with service standards and goals.
Develop operating budgets, forecasts, marketing plans, and departmental objectives.
Review results, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve performance.
Create standards and service practices for consistency and efficiency.
Lead and develop team through hiring, training, coaching, and salary reviews.
Oversee F&B operations including payroll, inventory, and budgeting.
Respond to guest concerns with care and sound judgment.
Collaborate with leaders to ensure ready and seamless guest experiences.
Conduct daily walk-throughs to check health regulations and brand standards.
