Job summary

Hotel ZaZa in Austin, Texas seeks a General Maintenance Supervisor to lead the engineering team in delivering preventive maintenance and rapid repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas, upholding the luxury standards of the property.

You will supervise daily activities, coach technicians, manage safety, coordinate capital projects, and respond to emergencies with a focus on reliability, guest service, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive building maintenance or hotel engineering experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and coordinating a team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance team activities, assign work orders, and monitor preventive tasks.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate technicians, promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure guest rooms, spaces, and back‑of‑house areas meet luxury standards.
