Job summary

Hotel ZaZa Memorial City is seeking an Engineer to maintain guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring safe, efficient operation of hotel facilities and mechanical systems. You will implement preventive maintenance, respond to guest requests, and uphold safety standards across a luxury property.

The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, extensive hotel maintenance knowledge, excellent guest service, and open availability for mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of hotel engineering operations and building systems.
• Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, lighting, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance work orders.
• Maintain hotel mechanical systems for optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
• Complete daily engineering logs and work order documentation.
• Assist with room renovations and capital projects.
