Job summary

The Inn at Little Washington seeks a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations in a luxury hotel setting. You will partner with senior leadership to drive payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compliance and engagement.

Responsibilities include acting HR leader in the Director’s absence, guiding managers on policies, and ensuring programs align with service standards and luxury culture. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in progressive HR roles; luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, employee relations and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Director of HR in day-to-day operations and partner with leaders to build a high-performing workplace.
• Serve as acting HR leader in Director’s absence and advise senior leadership on complex matters.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compliance, and HR operations.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and employment practices to managers.
• Maintain HR records with accuracy and confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive engagement initiatives and uphold luxury hotel service standards.
