Job summary

Montage is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to ensure day-to-day housekeeping operations meet hotel and Forbes standards. The role supports the Director of Housekeeping with inspections, mentoring staff, and building a strong team in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include training, safety training, scheduling, and ensuring clean, well-maintained rooms and public areas. You will coordinate with Sales and Rooms teams to maintain room status and quality control.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to supervise staff.
• Ability to analyze data, track performance, and prepare reports.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and budgeting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas and support the Director of Housekeeping.
• Mentor, coach, and train housekeeping staff to improve performance.
• Build and develop an effective housekeeping team under the Director of Housekeeping.
• Coordinate safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and payroll data.
• Oversee deep cleaning projects and inventory controls.
• Communicate room status with Sales and Rooms teams.
