The Gwen Chicago is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead on-site housekeeping and laundry operations in our Chicago, IL property. You will oversee staffing, budgets, and adherence to cleanliness standards across guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of management experience, with 3+ years in housekeeping management, and strong leadership, communication, and OSHA-compliant operation skills.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Experience managing in-house operated laundry operations.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and job requirements.
• Able to work with other department leaders and resolve conflicts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to meet cleanliness standards.
• Develop budgeting for housekeeping and laundry; control expenses.
• Inventory guest supplies, linen, and small equipment.
• Schedule labor to match occupancy and events; manage labor costs.
• Oversee training, performance evaluations, and discipline as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety, SOPs, and OSHA guidelines.
