Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to lead a shift of staff, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet exacting standards with enthusiasm and care.

The role involves interviewing, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members, coordinating daily tasks, and inspecting rooms. Strong English communication and prior housekeeping experience are required, with ability to work all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work all shifts including AM/PM, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Standing for long periods (up to 8 hours) with attention to detail.
• Minimum 1 year of related housekeeping experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of housekeeping Policies and hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a shift of the Housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet standards.
• Direct and schedule Room Attendants and House Attendants for assigned areas.
• Interview, train, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews; discipline when needed.
• Coordinate daily work orders and track progress; release checkout rooms for sale.
• Inspect rooms for quality and coach staff to correct deficiencies.
