Job summary

Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to manage housekeeping communications, assign daily tasks, and ensure guest requests are efficiently routed to the right team. You will support the department’s operational efficiency and guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities include creating daily work assignments, monitoring requests, updating briefings, and maintaining productivity tracking. Prior experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping coordinator, receptionist, or high-volume call center experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management: multi-task, set priorities, adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate computer equipment; knowledge of Opera and HotSOS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open the department in the morning shift and print reports.
• Create daily work assignments for Room Attendants and Turndown Attendants.
• Coordinate with Lobby Attendants, Housemen and Supervisors.
• Ensure guest requests and special setups are reflected in assignments.
• Monitor requests from guests for timely action and follow up.
• Update daily PowerPoint briefing slides for housekeeping briefings.
• Monitor stayovers and arrivals; adjust room assignments to meet 3pm cleaning target.
• Manage staffing for next day and report staffing variances.
• Conduct weekly inventories of supplies and submit purchase orders.
• Maintain tracking sheets and keep housekeeping areas clean.
