Grand Bohemian Charleston is seeking a welcoming Host/ess to greet guests, escort them to tables, provide menus, and liaise with kitchen and servers to ensure timely service. You will manage reservations, maintain a tidy host station, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure seating arrangements are organized.
• Provide menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and servers to ensure timely service.
• Assist with taking reservations and managing the waiting list.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and service excellence.
