Job summary

Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach by Palisociety is seeking a General Manager to lead Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and Overnight Operations as one cohesive team. You’ll balance hands-on leadership with financial oversight to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

You will hire and develop leaders, ensure HR and OSHA compliance, and maintain exceptional guest reviews while coordinating with Sales and Revenue teams to optimize RevPAR.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in luxury hotel settings or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of hotel and F&B operations.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop all team members; hold leaders accountable.
• Lead performance management, feedback, and evaluations; ensure HR, labor, OSHA compliance.
• Facilitate monthly Safety Committee; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Own guest experience with focus on 4.0+ review scores; guest recovery as needed.
• Maintain property standards through inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Oversee F&B operations; partner with Corporate F&B to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Own financial performance: budgets, labor, margins, inventories, monthly reporting.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to drive RevPAR.
