Job summary

Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park is seeking a Housekeeping Facilities & Projects Manager to oversee the condition, organization, and appearance of Housekeeping areas across the hotel.You will coordinate maintenance, manage special cleaning projects, and ensure timely completion of facility concerns in partnership with Engineering and other departments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to hold staff accountable, and capable of following open items through to completion while

Qualifications

• Three to five years of leadership experience in hotel Housekeeping, public-area operations, facilities coordination, or a related field.
• Experience supervising public-area, overnight, project-cleaning, or Housekeeping support teams preferred.
• Working knowledge of Housekeeping equipment, preventive maintenance, project cleaning, workplace safety, and asset controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, follow open items through completion, and communicate effectively with Engineering, vendors, employees, and hotel leadership.
• Strong inspection, documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a union hotel environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel work-order, purchasing, scheduling, or inventory systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays, and
• Ability to meet the physical requirements established for the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
