Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Coordinator to join our Engineering team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service.

The role involves handling office administration, providing secretarial support to the Director of Engineering, and coordinating communications across the engineering team at a luxury Five-Star property on Michigan Avenue. It requires strong organization and excellent English skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of coordination experience in a luxury property or similar environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office software preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate office administration under the Director of Engineering.
• Provide secretarial support to the Director and engineering team.
• Screen incoming calls and take messages.
• Receive and dispatch correspondences and maintain filing systems.
• Relay R&M orders from other departments and prepare monthly utilities reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to house rules and policies.
