Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Coordinator for our Engineering team to support guest-focused service at a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

Responsibilities include coordinating office administration, supporting the Director of Engineering, handling calls, dispatching mail, maintaining filing systems, and preparing monthly utilities reports. Strong organization, English proficiency, and 2 years of coordination experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of coordination experience in a luxury property.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong organization.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate office administration functions under the Director of Engineering.
• Provide secretarial support to the Director of Engineering and team.
• Screen incoming phone calls and take messages.
• Receive and dispatch correspondences; keep filing system up-to-date.
• Relay R&M orders from other departments; prepare monthly utilities reports.
