Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking a Cook at its Epicurean Hotel in Atlanta, GA. You will be expected to demonstrate passion for high standards, anticipate guest needs, and bring a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience. A culinary degree is a plus but not required.

Experience with luxury hotel or restaurant environments is preferred. The role requires knowledge of food handling, sanitation, knife skills, and the ability to read and follow recipes while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; 4 years culinary experience.
• Culinary degree or some level of culinary education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge in all aspects of Food Handling & Sanitation standards.
• Show positive teamwork skills; take direction and work ahead as directed.
• Maintain knowledge of food products, culinary preparation, and equipment.
• Prepare, plate, and service all foods with attention to quality and presentation.
• Assist in monthly inventories as directed and participate in cost control.
• Follow company guidelines to maximize guest service and maintain safety standards.
