Job summary

Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a Lead Host Person for Delilah to lead the Host Team, optimize seating, and ensure Forbes Five-Star service excellence. You will orchestrate guest arrivals, manage reservations, and maintain impeccable standards across the dining room.

Effective leadership, strong communication, and strategic planning are essential to deliver a sophisticated, personalized guest experience in a luxury environment. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and special events.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience as a Host Person or lead hospitality role in luxury dining.
• Proven leadership, training, and coaching experience.
• Knowledge of luxury dining service standards and reservation management.
• Experience with SevenRooms, OpenTable, or Resy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional with guests and teams.
• Must be 21+ and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, events.
• Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Host Team to deliver exceptional service and uphold standards.
• Develop seating plans to maximize covers while balancing flow and guest experience.
• Coordinate guest seating, reservations, and table inventory for efficiency and revenue.
• Anticipate VIPs, celebrities, and special occasions to tailor service.
• Serve as primary contact for arrivals and departures with warmth.
• Communicate guest preferences to leadership and teams.
• Monitor waitlists and manage guest expectations.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain knowledge of operations, floor plans, policies, and dining room standards.
• Partner with Reservations and management on VIPs and events.
• Ensure notes and profiles are documented in reservation systems.
• Lead daily pre-shift discussions about VIPs and events.
• Train, coach, and mentor Host Team Members.
• Monitor host performance and provide ongoing feedback.
• Maintain guest recognition program to welcome returning guests.
• Ensure menus, podiums, and workstations are presentation-ready.
• Collaborate with management to improve guest satisfaction scores and operation.
• Uphold Wynn Las Vegas, Delilah policies and appearance standards.
