Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Third Measure Runner to support the Front of House team by ensuring food and beverage orders are delivered promptly, accurately, and with polished presentation. You will assist Servers, Bartenders, and other team members to maintain an elevated guest experience throughout high-volume service.

This role emphasizes pace, organization, and exceptional service while upholding Fairmont New Orleans luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Ability to work late nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must obtain required Louisiana food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to tables and guest areas promptly and accurately.
• Support servers and bartenders to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Check orders for accuracy, presentation, temperature and special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, allergens, and preparation methods.
• Keep service stations, dining areas and guest pathways clean and organized.
• Stock glassware, napkins, menus, condiments and supplies at service stations.
• Assist with VIP events and high-volume service.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
