Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Runner to support Servers and the Front of House team in delivering a seamless dining experience. You will deliver orders from kitchen to guests, verify accuracy, and maintain presentation, temperature, and timing standards.

The role requires strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a professional appearance. You will assist with pre-bussing, resetting tables, and supporting VIP events while upholding safety policies and daily

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food runner, busperson or guest service experience is preferred.
• Luxury hotel or upscale dining experience is an asset.
• Passion for food, beverage and guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and long shifts.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Support Servers and Front of House to deliver a seamless dining experience.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly while maintaining temperature and presentation.
• Verify orders for accuracy and special requests before delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of The Café menu, ingredients and daily offerings.
• Communicate dietary restrictions and modifications between Culinary and FOH teams.
• Assist with food and beverage service and uphold service standards.
• Assist with pre-bussing, clearing, and resetting tables.
• Safely transport food, beverages, dishes, and service equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and appropriate stock at expo areas and dining spaces.
• Assist with VIP experiences and high-volume periods as assigned.
• Uphold Fairmont New Orleans standards and safety policies.
