Job summary

Ocean House Management in Rhode Island is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as a trusted partner across the Ocean House Collection. The role supports HR operations, benefits, housing, and employee engagement while fostering a positive workplace culture.

You will work with managers and staff across three luxury properties, with duties spanning HRIS, benefits administration, housing logistics, and compliance initiatives in a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in HR, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• SHRM-CP, PHR or other HR certification preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain HRIS systems and related data management.
• Administer employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
• Coordinate employee housing, leases, and seasonal housing needs.
• Process workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work steps.
• Assist with safety, audits, and HR compliance activities.
• Support payroll and talent management processes as needed.
