Job summary

The Ocean House Collection is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees across the Ocean House properties. You will support HR operations, compliance, benefit administration, and employee engagement while fostering a positive workplace culture and exceptional staff experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of human resources experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• SHRM-CP, PHR or other HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate HRIS operations and maintenance.
• Provide HRIS technical support and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify HRIS Service enhancements.
• Manage permissions and access to HRIS systems.
• Review unemployment claims and respond when needed.
• Conduct audits of HR functions and maintain records.
• Coordinate employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
• Assist employees with health, dental, life and related benefit claims.
• Assign rooms and manage housing documents for seasonal staff.
• Coordinate housing for international employees and seasonal placements.
• Prepare communications for seasonal move-ins and departures.
• Coordinate workers' compensation processes and safety initiatives.
• Lead performance review cycles and maintain documentation.
• Support accident prevention initiatives and safety programs.
