Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Associate for our Los Angeles, CA community. The role coordinates marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals while delivering resident satisfaction from tour through move-in and renewal.

Typical hours are Wednesday through Sunday with a 20% housing discount. 1-2 years leasing experience (luxury/high-rise preferred) and proficiency in Yardi are required. Strong sales and customer service skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Leasing experience (Prior exp with Luxury and High rise - required)
• Proficiency using Yardi
• Prior Affordable Housing, Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including tours, applications, credit screening, and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates maintenance needs to ensure move-in readiness.
• Develops and executes short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy; follows policies on concessions and programs.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, outreach programs, and online marketing.
• Uses on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensures show units meet company standards; coordinates maintenance and merchandising for a compelling show unit.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to secure leases and renewals; maintains communication via email, calls, and notices.
• Supports lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages and contacting renewing residents.
